  1. Screw anybody mad at her for singing along to a song. She has just as much free speech as you and has every right to say as she wants. Get over it, you’re not impacted by her singing along to a song with the N word in it. 👌

  2. wait wait, there is word that that whites can't say ? Are you serious…. ? well I'm, reclaiming "white people", no other race can speak it .. or I get offended… also "abracadabra" can be uttered only by Arabs… Grow up ….

  3. Jesus!!!!!!!! It’s a song people. If these songs are making music using the N word then remove it in music. So nobody can say it

  4. This moronic idea we have of reclaiming power and indemnity by using the n word becomes even more moronic when we expect people to ignore it as we use in material we market specifically to them.

  9. So the US should put forward an ally you have for a few years rathar than an ally you have for 70 years? Turkey has real concerns regarding the SDF/YPG so that should have been more than expected. And that seems to be the beginning of the end in this war not as the US media tries to portray it – the start of a new phase. The deal between the Kurds and the Syrian government seems to be handing Northeastern Syria to the goverment – how is that a bad thing? Having in mind the government has agreed for a constitutional comitee headed by the UN?
Resurgence of ISIS is largly bullshit.

  10. Oh my god this "n word" and people bending over backwards with countless apologies is getting so old. It's a word, it has a shitty history and it sucks, but hiding from it is getting us nowhere. The "n word"? Seriosuly are we all 5 year olds? "Ommm omm omm mommy mommy he said the "f word". Our society has become children 🙄.

    Answer: It cannot.

  14. If you're black and put the n word out to the public through music, anyone of any colour can sing that word of singing that song and only racist assholes will disagree. Of you don't want that word sang by non blacks, don't publish that song.

  19. this is very confusing and exhausting… we came at a point where we can't even sing along to a song without being racist…the song has the n word there, what is she supposed to do? I think it is ridiculous to have backlash for singing along to your favorite song. I know that hip hop music is reflecting the black culture so it has the n word inside, but we should be able to enjoy it without being criticized for it. Music is meant to be shared and enjoyed by everyone.

  20. As idubbz said(re: 'N word'): They're either all okay or non of them are.

The idea that the word can cause such pain and suffering is because we allow it to.

  21. If people of color want the “word” to ever not be used the “word” must quit being used by everyone including them. That will never happen so let the cycle continue.

  23. I think that Gina was just singing a song that had the “N” word in it. the context in which it could’ve been derogatory wasn’t there. If people weren’t meant to sing along with the song then it shouldn’t have made it to that song or any other song because there’s plenty of those songs now a days.

  24. If a religious organization is going to perform pseudoscience experiments as medical treatments on minors/ non-consenting people then they should have their tax exemptions taken away. Hit them where their money hurts and then see how many more conversion therapy sessions they perform.

  29. Words are innocent and context is what matters. And in cases where the user's context is not meant to be hurtful, getting offended only adds to the problem. Every time someone gets offended by a word, it perpetuates the power of that word to offend. Save your outrage for actual racists (who have probably selected a new word to use as a slur anyway).

  30. people should just stay silent when others are offended or triggered… it only seems to make the public even more mad when they apologize.

  31. Words aren't bad, it's how you use it that makes it bad.

If you're singing a song, it's most likely something someone else has made, and probably has millions of views and replays throughout the year, but the minute you just wanna jam and do some karaoke it's suddenly your fault an entirely different generation let things happen the way they did. I am educated, I know the origins of the word and my family has diverse enough backgrounds as it is. I belong to multiple races but I don't claim to use it as a 'pass' and I certainly don't use it in malice . I use it because that's what the god damn artist sang in his song!!! Don't like it? Try going after the guy responsible for the lyrics and see what answer you get. Chances are they share the same ethnicity as the slur being used.

If I happen to be around someone that doesn't like hearing the word, I'd be more than happy to make sure I never say/ever play a song of that nature around them again. Most of the time though, people don't give a shit, and it's because they're learning how to move on from the past and focus on the growth. There is a lot that needs to be done, but it's like that for any part of the world. Not just the U.S and Canada.

  33. Isn't it a little racist to say you can't say a particular bad word in ANY context but I can because of my race? I get saying the n-word in a derogatory manner is absolutely uncalled for but why can't I sing it in a song that chose to use that word in it's song?

Omfg, I live in the stupid ass country called Turkey and omfg nobody in their right mind likes this guy, he's only doing this because it creates more refugees that he can immediately give them citizenship so that he can get more votes in the "elections" (one time one of his men was caught stealing a vote box but he got cornered in a room and it was one of the funniest news reports)

  36. Alright, do you want raciata to be able to say the n-word or do you want black people to not be allowed to say the n-word. Because that's what it boils down to.

  37. You know what? This fact that Assad is willing to help Kurds kinda shows that he is not a Muslim. At least not a devout one. At all.

Kurds practice Yazidism. Their "main" entity is Melek Taus. Who is, when you really think about it, literally Lucifer/Iblis. I shit you not. He is the first creation of God (Allah). The leader of the archangels. The one who refused to bow to humans. Yup. That's good ol' Devil.
Now, to Muslims (and Christians…) they are devil-worshipers. They've been persecuted throughout their history for it.

The fact that Assad is willing to overlook that little detail kinda speaks volumes about his religious beliefs. He does not care.

There are plenty of songs that have offensive slurs about people like me (lgbt, disabled and other things) you don't see us being mad about every time someone sings a offensive word about us.

  43. As an individual in Turkey and a native English speaker it’s interesting to see how both Turkish and mainstream media are both inaccurate. In Turkey while some things are said, a lot of it is ‘fluff’ and as for mainstream media most of it is hysteria. I’d just like to thank you for not following the hysteria that’s is purposefully conveyed. I do also think that there is a lot of misinformation and information that isn’t said at all. That’s why it’s important to research extensively and find sources that aren’t politically connected. If you are interested in accurate sources I’d suggest Sibel Edmonds and ragipsoylu on Twitter. I highly recommend Sibel Edmonds.
