Ruling on circumcision in Islam fard or sunnah and its benefits

The Question is: Why do muslims circumcise
and this has become a very common question, many non muslims are asking muslims that why
do muslims circumcise. We muslims, we circumcise because it is Sunnat-e-Maukida, it is highly
recommended Sunnah in Islam as it is mentioned in Abu Dawood Book No-42, Hadith No-5251.
So it is Sunnat-e-Maukida, highly recommended it is not fard, it is not compulsory, so if
a person especially a non-muslim and today we know that Islam is the fastest growing
religion in the world, if any non muslim accepts Islam and then he circumcises, Alhumdulillah!
and if he doesn’t circumcise, still he can be a very good muslim because it is not compulsory,
it is not obligatory but it is Sunnat-e-Maukida, highly recommended Sunnah and when we muslims
circumcise, we cut the foreskin of penis, the skin that covers the top of penis and
today medical science tells us that there are many diseases that can be prevented if
you circumcise. For example if you circumcise, you have a very less chance of cancer of penis,
your wife has a very less chance of cervical cancer and today medical science tells us
that if you circumcise you enjoy your sexual life better, so medically your married life
becomes better, if you circumcise you have less chance of AIDS, HIV, STD and normally
what happens when you go for the call of nature and if you don’t circumcise, after urinating,
few drops of urine remain in the foreskin the skin that covers the top of penis and
because of that you may have itching, you may have infections etc. So if you circumcise,
all these diseases can be prevented and today they are many non muslims who also circumcise
not because Islam says but because they know this is beneficial for them. There are many
non muslims in America, in western countries, they also circumcise not because Islam says
but they know that this is beneficial for them. So it is Sunnat-e-Maukida, highly recommended
in Islam that you should circumcise, it is not fard, it is not obligatory but it is highly
recommended.

  2. Circumcision is an amazing procedure. God did a wonderful thing creating this operation and making it highly recommended. In addition to the benefits stated, it makes the penis less sensitive and less likely to become irritated, so boys are less likely to discover the evil sin of masturbation.
